During the next performance of Ted goes around the world, young children and their families will be setting off on a Spanish adventure.
Ted together with flamenco dancers Clarissa De Giorgio and Robert Scicluna will be conducting an interactive story telling session with Flamenco and the sounds of the castanettes. The session will be held at St. James Cavalier on Sunday 18th May at 4pm.
Children can also get their Ted passport coloured and stamped to keep a track of all their visits. The one hour interactive sessions are a fabulous way of introducing children and adults to different countries and their musical and literary culture.
Sarah Spiteri, producer of the series stated that “music and stories allow children to break down cultural barriers and to learn about diversity in a fun and creative way”. Previous sessions introduced stories and sounds from China, Malta, Africa, Ireland and France. The final session will be held on Sunday 25th of May with Songs of Arabia.
Limited family tickets starting at €8 for 4 people are available from St. James Cavalier box office on 21 223 200 or boxoffice@sjcav.org
