Meanwhile, Malta placed 14th out of the 19 participants on Thursday’s second semi-final.
Saturday's final saw Russia’s Dima Bilan winning with his song
Believe for which he garnered 272 points.
Malta received 38 points on Thursday. These were given by nine countries as follows: Iceland (3 points), UK (2 points), Denmark (4 points), Portugal (4 points), Croatia (4 points), Latvia (4 points), Albania (8 points), Bulgaria (3 points) and the Czech Republic (6 points).
