40,000 expected for Isle of MTV concert

Over 40,000 people are expected to flock to the granaries in Floriana on Wednesday evening for the Isle of MTV concert.
The line up for the concert will include the Kooks, OneRepublic, N*E*R*D, Lady Gaga and Enrique Iglesias.
 The public is being urged to resort to public transport for the evening to avoid traffic congestion as much as possible. Public transport will be extended on all routes until 0030CET on Thursday morning. Buses will be stopping in St Anne’s street.
Moreover, Gozo Channel are organising a special trip from Gozo at 1715CET to Sa Maison. A return trip will leave Sa Maison at 0100CET.
Furthermore, those who prefer to use their private cars can make use of the Park and Ride which will be fully operational till 0100CET.
The Sliema-Marsamxett ferry will also be extending its service to 0100CET.
