Veteran metal acts Norm Rejection and Martyrium will be playing live at Remedy Rock Club, Paceville on Friday 18th July.

This will be Norm Rejection's first gig with new bassist and long-time friend Rex, replacing Joker who parted with the band on an amicable basis. Rex joins vocalist Wil, drummer Michael Briguglio and guitarist Sean Vukovic.

Norm Rejection's set will include crowd favourites such as 'Malta Not For Sale' and 'Caged' from their 0002 and Deconform albums. Norm Rejection has recently been described by international label 'Death to Music Productions' as playing 'an interesting politicised mix of Black Sabbath meets Rage Against The Machine with Henry Rollins on vocals and Ritchie Blackmore on lead guitars'.

Norm Rejection is expected to collaborate with this label in the near future.

On their part, Martyrium are known for their innovative, dark and atmospheric black metal style. Martyrium have a wealth of experience on stage, both in Malta as well as internationally, playing with top international bands of the genre.

At the fall of the year 2008 the band is expected to release their third studio album under the name of “Awakening the Ancient” which sees the band taking yet again a different turn in their musical style creating punchy passages mixed with mellow and austere atmospheres.

Doors open at 2100 CEST. Tickets cost 5 euro.
