For the fifth year running Puerto Flamenco featuring Seville's finest flamenco artists makes its eagerly anticipated stopover in the Maltese harbours.
Fresh from the Khamoro festival in Prague where they premiered snippets of their latest production ‘APACHEANDO’ with an outstanding success, the eight-strong, cutting-edge troupe from Seville promises to outdo last year’s standing ovation performance at the Malta Arts festival.
Malta's own Francesca “Cikka” Grima and Andrej Vujicic proudly present two award-winning male dancers: last year’s star of the show, Jesus Herrera and Marco Jimenez of gypsy temperament.
On the guitars, flamenco guitar soloist Eduardo Trassierra, together with “El Tudela” one of Seville’s most experienced dance accompanist, as well as the energizing voices of the crowd’s favourite Jose “El Tremendo”, and phenomenal Ana Gomez bringing all the flamencura from her native Cadiz.
