The Gozo Music Festival is back with Vodafone

Following the success of Gozo Music Festival 6th Edition, which attracted over 3,500 people from different music backgrounds, the highly anticipated 7th Edition is back on the 23rd of August 2008 at the Gozitan Complex on the main road from the Mgarr Harbour.

The festival, organised by Dynamic Promotions, is sponsored by Vodafone Malta Limited.

This year’s edition of the Gozo Music Festival will offer its followers an exciting atmosphere throughout the night. The German pop music duo Modern Talking will give a live concert on the first stage. This stage will also host Ira losco, Tribali, Cash & band, Morena, Zoo Team, Dj  Alex Grech, the master of 80`s music, Jonathan Abel & Eleanor, Dj Simon Pisani & Captain Drew  from Bay Radio Dj`s. Presenting  this line up will be Angie Laus and Moira Delia.

The second stage will host the world`s famous House Duo Junior Jack and Kid Crème with the launch of their new album. Known around the globe with their music at the Ministry of Sound in London, they have won two awards for Best Album and Best Artist of the Year in 2004 and in 2005, they won the 'Best House DJ' award at the annual DJ Awards extravaganza at Pacha, Ibiza. They will be supported by Malta`s finest DJs inlcuding Ruby, Luc Adams, Carl Bee, Miss Roberta, Panzius, JJoy, Tenishia and Ryan M. The stage will be entertained by dance TV presenters Ronald and Frank Zammit.

“Since its conception, the Gozo Music Festival has always been a success with both Gozitans and Maltese. Vodafone understands that organising a festival of this magnitude, requires a great deal of planning, organization and resources. We are happy to support this musical event which I am sure will go down very well with all music lovers,” said Vodafone’s Head of Consumer Business, Joseph Cuschieri.

The Festival will also feature two of latest technology stages with the best sound and lighting systems possible, uplifted VIP area, bars, wine and liquors stands, fireworks, photo shootouts, merchandised area, fire jugglers and dancers. A large parking area is available to the general public.

“With all these artists exclusively for the night, the Gozo Music Festival will definitely be one of the main musical events of 2008 giving you a night of music, from live rock music to house music, and the best musical selection of past and present times,” said Joseph Cutajar organizer of the Gozo Music Festival.

Tickets are on sale from 1st July 2008 at €20. Vodafone Malta customers are being offered discounted tickets at €15 instead of €20 if purchased between the 1st and the 20th of July 2008 from any Vodafone Retail Outlet. VIP tickets are on sale for €30 each.
