Concert to mark Central Bank's 40th anniversary

The Central Bank of Malta will be holding its 40th anniversary concert at the Grandmasters’ Suite, Hilton Malta on Friday 19 September 2008 at 20:00 under the distinguished patronage of HE Dr Edward Fenech Adami, President of Malta.

The concert will feature the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Michael Laus, with the participation of soloists Caroline Calleja (Harp) and Joseph Vella (Saxophone).  Works by Muscat, Saint-Saëns, Debussy and Berlioz will be performed.

A limited number of tickets at €5 each will be available from the Central Bank of Malta, St James’s Counterguard, Valletta from 15 to 17 September 2008 from 09:00 to 12:00.  

All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Malta Community Chest Fund.
