Finalists for Junior Eurosong chosen

Sixteen entries qualified for the final phase of this year's Maltese selection for the Junior Eurovision - the Junior Eurosong 2008.   The festival is organised by PBS.

74 entries were submitted for this year's festival.  36 qualified for the two semifinals which were held on Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th September.  A panel of judges together with televoting determined the final outcome.
 
Running order for Saturday's final was determined by the order in which the titles were drawn out of the envelopes by the host herself, Pauline Agius. The finalists were announced towards the end of the second semifinal.
 
Therefore, the official running order for this Saturday's 13th September Final of the Junior Eurosong 2008 is as follows:
 
1. Singing in the street - Shieradye Micallef
 
2. Teenagers - Francesca Zarb

3. A Dream - Angelica Portelli

4. Eastern Breeze - Denise Spiteri

5. Fulfill my dream - Francesca Sciberras

6. I can't live without you - Ylenia Vella

7. Sing - Marisa Galea

8. The Zoo - Jodie

9. Fly - Yazmin Halledie

10. Endless Voices - Jade Cini

11. The land of make believe - Antonella Abela

12. Trust and Believe - Danica Muscat

13. Junior Swing - Daniel Testa

14. In My Heart - Marie Claire Attard Bason

15. Good Times - Nicole Azzopardi

16. Don't Hurt Us - Scarlet
 
A different panel of judges together with televoting will determine the winner of this year's Junior Eurosong.   The show will be aired live on TVM this Saturday 13th September as from 20:40 CET onwards.  CUTE, who represented Malta in last year's Junior Eurovision will be the main guests of the final together with dancers from the Annalise Dance Studio.
