To celebrate World Tourism Day, the Malta Tourism Authority proudly presents a concert with a green message by the English rock singer Fish, of Marillion fame.

Fish has visited Malta’s shores a number of times, and this year his return is being organised to coincide with the events marking World Tourism Day on the 27th September.

The Scottish rock artist has enjoyed an 18-year long productive solo career with his latest album, 13th Star, released only last year.  His performance on the 27th September in Bugibba, as part of the World Tourism Day (WTD) commemorations is expected to feature various tracks from the new album as well as other classic cuts from his solo albums, and some Marillion classic favourites.

This year’s theme for WTD is Tourism responding to the challenge of climate change, a topic that today is at the heart of most environmentally conscious individuals.

This concert is just one of a number of initiatives being taken by the Malta Tourism Authority to commemorate World Tourism Day. The Authority together with various stakeholders is organizing events and initiatives to raise environmental awareness, with the tourists as well as employees and the public.
