The Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra will present Mozart Requiem for small instrumental ensemble in historical version.
The concert will take place on Sunday 25th May at 1900 CEST at the St Paul's Anglican Co-Cathedral in Valletta.

Morena has refused two “substantial” sponsorship offers from
international vodka companies on the basis that her song Vodka was not
promoting drinking, The Sunday Times revealed. The Maltese Eurovision
contestant said that “the last thing I want to do is promote alcohol. I
do not drink.”
Commenting on this development, MaltaMedia founder and Creative
Director, Dr Toni Sant said “It's sad to see the Maltese entry taking
itself so seriously yet again."

Betting website paddypower.com has trashed Malta’s entry for the Eurovision song contest and is offering a 50-1 betting ratio for the Maltese entry.
The website says that Morena’s "Vodka sounds exactly like Namco World in the middle of half term in an echo chamber, and - as cute as Morena is - the fact that she sings it like Anastasia possessed by an evil spirit doesn’t exactly help much either."

A piano recital by Maria Blanco will be held on Friday at 2000 CEST at the Music Room at St James Cavalier in Valletta.
The programme consists of Haydn: Sonata in C major, Hob. 48; Brahms:
Three Intermezzi, Op.117; Shchedrin: Basso Ostinato and Schumann:
Carnival Jest from Vienna, Op.26. Maltese pianist, Maria Blanco, was the winner of the 1999 Young
Musicians National Competition and the 10th Bice-Mizzi Vassallo Music
Competition in Malta, 2005.
