Hectic schedule for Morena in Belgrade

Malta's entry to the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, Morena, is having a busy schedule in Belgrade where she is preparing for the semi-final round on Thursday.

On Friday, Morena took part in the Greek-Cypriot party as a special guest together with other singers from Armenia, Bosnia, Bulgaria and Andorra. Meanwhile on Saturday, the Maltese Eurovision entrant will participate in a party thrown by the Ukranian delegation.

Morena to appear naked with Maltese flag

Malta’s Eurovision contestant Morena will be posing in nothing but her birthday suit and the Maltese flag for a special photo session for the Alo daily newspaper to be published on Monday and Bliz Puls magazine.

Morena will be posing with another six contesting beauties for a project by Goran Iovanovic and photographer Zoran Ilic.

Ira Losco's third album to be launched on June 14

Ira Losco has announced the launch of her new album, “Fortune Teller”, with a concert to be held on June 14th at Sky Club Paceville.

Following six months of hard work with producer Howard Kfeith, Ira Losco’s third album is ready to be released with 14 original tracks.

Morena's first stage rehearsal in Belgrade

On Wednesday, Malta's entry to the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest took the stage at the Belgrade Arena for the first stage rehearsal. After the rehearsal, singer Morena gave a press conference flanked by members of the Maltese delegation.

Nine other semi-finalists participated in Wednesday's rehearsals, besides Malta; Latvia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Georgia, Hungary, Cyprus, FYR Macedonia and Portugal.

Vodafone Malta Limited, one of the main sponsors of the upcoming Joseph Calleja concert, is enabling its customers to purchase discounted tickets for this event. Vodafone customers purchasing any ticket from Vodafone Retail Outlets will get a discount of €10 on the ticket price.

A tribute to Pavarotti, will include arias from Tosca, Rigoletto, Pagliacci and Turandot, and also features guests Nataliya Kovalova and George Petean, under the direction of Mro Brian Schembri and the Janacek Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ted says Ole!

During the next performance of Ted goes around the world, young children and their families will be setting off on a Spanish adventure.

Ted together with flamenco dancers Clarissa De Giorgio and Robert Scicluna will be conducting an interactive story telling session with Flamenco and the sounds of the castanettes. The session will be held at St. James Cavalier on Sunday 18th May at 4pm.
