The Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise has officially endorsed the
GreenPak Scheme, the only authorised waste packaging recovery scheme in Malta,  for the recovery of packaging waste.

As a result of this endorsement, Chamber members who sign up with GreenPak will be fully compliant with the requirements of the Packaging Waste regulations set by LN277/2006, which requires companies to recover and recycle packaging waste put on the market by their businesses.

Through this agreement, members of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and
Enterprise who join the GreenPak Scheme shall be entitled to additional benefits  including free GreenDot registration, free collection of warehouse packaging, and  financial reductions depending on the tonnage registered on the scheme by the Malta  Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise members.

The Malta Chamber of Commerce said it believes that GreenPak allows legal compliance at  the least possible cost.
