Model exhibition starts in two weeks' time

The Association of Model Engineers is holding its Annual Model Exhibition at the Scouts Headquarters in Floriana between Saturday 27th September and Sunday 5th October, 2008. This year, the exhibition will be marking the Association's 25th anniversary.
Models of Aircraft, Military Vehicles, Crafts, Marine, Figures, General Engineering, Cars, Space & Science Fiction, Trains, Dioramas and Diecast models will be on show.
During the exhibition the Association will also be holding its Annual Competitions, which are open for its members. Models for competitions will be on display.
During the Exhibition, members of the Association of Model Engineers will be demonstrating how to build models of various subjects. The Engineering Section will put up demonstrations of various steam engines and trains, while an airbrush demonstration will also be held.
Commercial stands will also be showing products in connection with the modelling fields. Modellers will have an opportunity to view what materials and allied modelling products are available on our Island.
The Exhibition is being sponsored by the Bank of Valletta. Opening Times are from 9 am to 8 pm, and entrance is free.
