Bestselling author Louis de Bernières in Malta

The bestselling author of “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin” and “Birds Without Wings” will visit Malta between the 21st and 22nd March.

Louis de Bernières will be brought over by the British Council and Miller Distributors. The Maltese reading public will have a number of opportunities to hear him talking about his work.

On Wednesday 21st March Louis de Bernières will be meeting University students at 1300CET in Lecture Theatre 2. He will read extracts from his work and participate in a Question and Answer Session. The event is being organised in collaboration with the Department of English and KSU, and will be followed by a book signing session at 3pm at the Agenda Bookshop on campus.

On the same day de Bernières will be taking part in another reading; this will be held in the Music Room at St. James Cavalier at 1900CET. Tickets are priced at Lm1. For booking information  contact the booking office on 21 22 32 00 or 21 22 32 16 or email boxoffice@sjcav.org

Further book signings are scheduled for Thursday 22nd March at Sapienza Bookshop in Valletta, 1230CET and at Agenda Bookshop at the Waterfront in Valletta at 1830CET.
