Scotland
next week, for the FIBA Europe Division
C championship.

Malta was drawn in
Group B together with hosts Scotland,
Andorra and Wales.

Semi-finals
and finals will be played on the 21st and 22nd June. The
team will be accompanied by Mr Ottavio Terribile – vice president of the MBA.
This
year is also a memorable one for the Maltese Basketball. On June 7th 2008 was the fifth
anniversary from the wonderful success obtained by Malta during the GSSE. The women’s national team won the Gold Medal for a success which will never be
forgotten.
