The Table Tennis Academy Summer School will kick off on 1st
of July and courses are this year being organised for all levels including two sessions that
include fun and culture; a definite first in Malta. Students will interact not
only during table tennis but also simulating art, fun and doing cultural visits
together within the Capital
City.
Edwin Cotter Australia’s No 4 Junior is resident
coach for the Summer this year and is presently preparing an intensive schedule
with Head Coach Mario Genovese. Other visits by foreign players are also
scheduled during the Summer School.
Next Saturday 28th June players
that would like to try out the game of table tennis are invited to attend at
the Civil Service Sports Club on the first floor in Archbishop Street, Valletta
next to Palace Square.
Those that lack rackets will be provided one and all information will be given
during Saturday morning.
Head coaches Mario Genovese, Edward
Baldacchino and Alex Soler will be present to answer questions regarding the
Summer School.
