Last week, HP held its annual New Product Introduction (NPI) seminar to update and introduce HP’s Maltese partners and customers to its latest technology developments and products. The one-day seminar was held at the InterContinental Malta, St Julians.

The key HP speakers included Patrick Diaz, ISS and StorageWorks Division Sales Manager for HP CDG; Radovan Horvath, BCS Manager for HP EEM; and Gerald Hampapa, Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) Business Development Manager. Franz Scherz, Managing Director for HP CDG EEM, welcomed the delegates and delivered an informative introduction.

The NPI seminar covered three HP groups: Digital Imaging and Printing, Personal Systems, and Technology Solutions. First, the seminar focused on the latest news on the Industry Standard Server (ISS) side, the HP Blade System for small and medium-sizes businesses, HP Integrity Server solutions for enterprises of all sizes, and updates on the Storage Solutions, which include the new Enterprise Virtual Array family and the XP 24000.

Later, sessions focused on HP printing solutions and introduction of new personal products, which include HP Desktop PCs, Workstations, Thin Clients, notebooks, Displays and Accessories, and HP protect tools.

Franz Scherz said, “Our business in Malta is growing.   There has been a significant expansion in enterprise business customers, both locally and internationally.   Later on this year, HP will be launching new products for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as products for domestic use.”
