Ryanair cancels Pisa flight unexpectedly

Around 150 passengers were stranded at Malta International Airport on Saturday following Ryanair’s cancellation of its afternoon flight FR 993 to Pisa.

The flight was to leave at 17:45CEST but was cancelled unexpectedly as the aircraft did not arrive as was expected from Pisa at 17:20CEST.

The passengers were assisted by Air Malta, which flew the passengers to Venice, Rome and Milan at a charge.
