The first free independent commuter newspaper on the public transport system - Kif? was launched on Wednesday under the auspices of the Ministry of Urban Development and Roads, the Malta Transport Authority and the Public Transport Association. The first publication of Kif? will be issued on Thursday 18th October on the public transport system and readers can collect their copy every Thursday morning from aboard the bus.

Kif? follows the concept of other commuter newspapers around the world. Short news stories, current affairs, gossip, culture and entertainment, competitions and life style features will make up this new newspaper which will accompany commuters during their travels on board the bus.

Urban News Publishers is a new venture that successfully brings together the fusion of expertise in both traditional and new media. It is made of young, qualified and experienced individuals in the communications and journalism field – dynamic team priding themselves with training in the area both locally and abroad and hands-on experience in the media industry.

Urban News Publishers brings all this together fused with international input and reliable sources to create the first urban, free, independent newspaper on the islands. For more information contact Vanessa Borg at info@kif-online.com
