Health Division advises vaccination against measles

In a statement published on Monday, the Health Division is advising all those who will be travelling to Austria or Switzerland during the European Championships in June to make sure thay are vaccinated against measles.

A significant number of cases of measles have recently been reported from this part of Europe.

The vaccination can be obtained free of charge from the Floriana Health Centre and is ideally taken at least three weeks before departure. The Health Centre is open from Monday to Friday between 0800-1300CET, and on Saturday between 0800-1200CET.
