BeijingEmirates Airline, the Dubai-based international airline, has announced the launch of Vision Beijing – a series of Beijing Olympic promotional films – onboard Emirates flights starting July 2008.

Vision Beijing, which took more than two years to prepare, comprises five short films about the city in the run up to the Beijing Olympic Games and aims to highlight ancient Beijing's image as a modern international metropolis. Each film is over five minutes in duration, in English with Chinese subtitles. The short films provide insights into Beijing’s history and culture, portraying it as a modern international metropolis.

Emirates currently operates double daily services to Beijing. The airline also flies from Dubai to Malta via Cyprus five times weekly on the Boeing 777-300. As from 1st December 2008, Emirates will be operating flights to Malta on a daily basis.
