Tony Coleiro has been elected Fellow by two of the leading International Institutions, Tourism and Hospitality oriented. Both Institutions will be looking upon the possibility to open their Chapter in Malta and Gozo.

The Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives (ATHE) was formed as a 'not for profit' company in 2006. ATHE is an association of training centres who provide accredited courses throughout the world either by attendance at a centre or by distance learning directly with ATHE in the UK.

During the last 12 months the Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives has appointed more than 50 accredited centres who teach the courses in their classroom and has also been delivering distance learning courses via a number of centres worldwide including Asia, Gulf region, Africa and now Central America. Not only are the courses taken in the larger countries such as India and Pakistan but also islands such as Mauritius, Niue and Malta. ATHE is developing partnerships with Universities, Recruiting Agencies and other major organisations to add value to the courses and to provide the student with a complete package and to become the world's leading association for tourism and hospitality professionals.

ATHE is dedicated to continued professional development, to achieving the highest levels of professional certification, and to supporting each other in commitment to professional excellence.

Inaugurated in 1956, The Institute of Travel & Tourism ITT seeks to develop and maintain professional standards throughout the travel industry for the benefit of its members. The travel and tourism industry is one of the largest industry sectors in the UK, employing over 120,000 people and also in European Countries. As such, membership of the ITT should be of interest to all those directly, or indirectly, involved in the travel and tourism business — whether working for a travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotel, car hire company, tourist office or any other travel related business such as PR, law, marketing, advertising and publishing. ITT also welcomes educators and their students to become members of the Institute.
