First Ryanair flight from Dublin arrives in Malta

Ryanair’s first flight from Dublin, Ireland, arrived in Malta on Thursday just after 1200CET.


ryanairRyanair’s operations to Malta commenced in October when the company launched flights to the island from Luton, London, in the United Kingdom and Pisa in Italy.

Flight FR7242 brought 149 passengers to Malta. It is estimated that the low-cost airline has sold over 80,000 seats to date on its three routes to Malta.

 

Flights to and from Dublin will be provided three times weekly. Ryanair also operates three weekly flights to and from Pisa and one flight daily to and from Luton.

In turn a number of Ryanair flights scheduled to land in or depart from Dublin were cancelled due to snow early on Thursday morning, said the company in a statement.
