Next winter thousands of Air Malta customers will be availing themselves of the 35,000 seat sale offered by the airline as its 35th Anniversary celebrations. The launch of this successful Winter Sale features 26 winter destinations starting as from Eur67 (Lm28.76) one-way which include taxes and charges. This promotion has already achieved an outstanding response since its launch a month ago.

This special offer is valid for travel between the 6th November 2008 to 31st March 2009, (excluding the period between 17th December to the 8th January 2009).  Reservations and ticketing have to be effected by the 28th May 2008. Certain conditions and travel restrictions may apply. Flyaway Tours hotels with excellent value for money in all countries are also available.

“This offer is good news for both the local travelling public. Throughout its 35 years of sterling operations, Air Malta was the major driving force behind the development of the thriving local tourism industry. With this offer we wish to thank specifically the Maltese community who has supported us throughout these years,” said Mr Brian Bartolo, General Manager Marketing & Product.

For Air Malta, low-cost prices do not imply a low cost service as the airline offers an enhanced level of in-flight service including audio visual programming, free newspapers, in-flight meals and a complementary drink. The aircraft fleet are configured in business and economy classes, offering FULL service treatment.

Air Malta operates to the main airports and its customers have the opportunity to pool 20kgs free baggage allowance for economy class passengers and 30kgs for Club Class passengers. The Maltese airline prides itself of offering these services without resorting to charge ludicrously hidden charges to its passengers when booking online, checking-in their luggage and when using the traditional check-in services. Air Malta has a fleet of 11 brand new state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly A320 and A319 aircraft from the Airbus fleet with an average age of 2.5 years.

The 35,000 seats offer is valid for travel from Malta to the following destinations: Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin, Birmingham, Brussels, Budapest, Catania, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Hamburg, Istanbul, London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted, Leipzig, Manchester, Milan, Munich, Paris, Reggio Calabria, Rome, Sofia, Vienna and Zurich
