"I Have A Dream" is the popular name given to the historic public speech by Martin Luther King, Jr., when he spoke of his desire for a future where blacks and whites among others would coexist harmoniously as equals. King's delivery of the speech on August 28, 1963, from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, was a defining moment of the American Civil Rights Movement.Honey! WARNING CARNIVORE FRIENDLY ARTICLE: Veggies and animal lovers are advised to avoid reading this article. This article unearthed via Art & Literature Daily informs the general populace that families are turning to dwarf cows in order to fight the rising food prices. Pity Gonzi’s government had not heard of the Dexter breed of cows before - they would have sounded so cool on the electoral manifesto sitting right next to the free light bulbs and might have detracted attention from the fat cows in his previous cabinet.

Today is the 17th birthday of Linux...On the 25th August 1991 the following message appeared on the newsgroup comp.os.minix:
Hello everybody out there using minix-
I'm doing a (free) operating system (just a hobby, won't be big
and professional like gnu) for 386(486) AT clones. This has
been brewing since april, and is starting to get ready. I'd like
any feedback on things people like/dislike in minix; as my OS
resembles it somewhat (same physical layout of the file-sytem
due to practical reasons)among other things.
