During the past decade or so, I have often been asked the following question: do you believe in God? As stated in a previous post, I was born and raised in a Roman Catholic family. My faith was quite strong until I was around 16 years old. I will not reiterate how I lost my faith in this post since it was already mentioned elsewhere.Chore Wars

One of the things many locals mention when they talk about the euro is that you have a lot of money (i. e. in numbers) but it is spent very quickly. This sounds kinda silly but I’m finding myself in agreement with it. Most days of the week I don’t have many opportunities to get rid of my cash. Then comes Saturday, and man, do the euros run! Perhaps I should stop leaving our village for shopping on weekends. But there’s the catch: to say that Gharb’s shops are limited in the stock they carry, is the understatement of the year.
