Today must be the hottest day of summer? I have a skin rash and it feels so sticky! :( Don't you just hate September's weather in Malta? And to think that there are many tourists who long for this type of weather...like the ones I saw today sunbathing at 2 pm.

The problem with humidity is that, and there is no delicate way to put this, your sweat can't evaporate because the air is already full of moisture. So you feel hot (because your cooling mechanism i.e. the evaporation of sweat, has been foiled) and sticky (because your bodily fluids just lie there on your skin).
