One of the most recently built and unusual yachts to grace the Mediterranean, the 'A' arrived in Grand Harbour earlier today. The $300 million, 120 metre 'A' was built by the German shipyard Blohm and Voss. It was designed by Philippe Stark for 36-year-old Russian billionnaire Andrey Melnichenko. He ordered it for his wife Aleksandra, a former Serbian supermodel, hence the name 'A'.

EU Migration Pact...have a look at people's comments underneath the article. It sounds like people are very upset. I don't blame them. Someone there said something very true, whatever happens...Malta can't keep on receiving 2,000 or 3,000 illegal immigrants per year. It's just plain unsustainable.Back to the 'wick' (Chiswick, not Warwick....)

So we're back in the game - Internet's arrived, and all is well. Or rather, I like to think that all is as good as it has always been, with or without internet. To be honest, a week without internet has been quite the blessing in disguise, I've had loads of time to explore Chiswick, Hammersmith, and the back end of Kensington (snobs, the lot!) and realise just how much I'm liking this place, particularly when one considers the past year (or maybe forty - god knows) spent in the spiritual and social desert that is Coventry (with all due respect to Michael Mifsud and the sky blues).
