I feel cheated. For weeks, well months actually, I’ve been looking forward to the first downpour and what does it do? It waits until I’m fast asleep, that’s what! Not very nice!Really, I can hardly wait for summer to be over, though it’ll take a while longer I suppose. Today it has been unbearably sticky. Ironically, that’s probably because of the rain last night…No more Ice-Cream...

That's it...I am officially on a diet as from...now...When I came to Malta three years ago I was called "flaquita", "popotitos" etc. as I was kind of skinny...which was not great. My parents were very spartan when it comes to food or David and most Maltese eat a lot.My first meal in Malta was kind of shocking because of the amazing size of the portions. What I considered to be a family pizza was actually a pizza for one person! And so on and so forth...In brief: I have gained a lot of weight compared to the way I was meaning that my jeans, my skirts, etc. etc. no longer fit the way they should.
