Nine infants made their way into the world on Christmas Day. The six female and three male babies, born on the same day the birth of Jesus Christ is celebrated, undoubtedly brought incredible joy to their proud parents.

Seven of the children were brought into the world in Public Hospital St. Luke’s in Guardamangia. Five of the new arrivals were girls, while the other two infants were boys.

In turn, two private hospitals saw the arrival of two other young ones. A baby boy was born in St. Philip’s Hospital, whereas St. James Hospital witnessed the birth of a baby girl.
