HSBC won the Best Use of International Media Award for the Points of View campaign during the Media and Marketing Awards 2006. The campaign had focused on ‘Cultural Clashes’, emphasizing the bank’s concept of ‘Your World’s Local Bank’. Executive Head of HSBC Bank Malta Shaun Wallis remarked that “Life is about the diversity of cultures and observations, and this is what our business strives to achieve with the term ‘Your World’s Local Bank’.
HSBC also placed third for Best Corporate Campaign, Campaign of the Year and Best Integrated Campaign. The ceremony was held in the Grosvenor Hotel in London, England, celebrating the best of international advertising.
