An attempted theft left a man injured on Monday morning at around 0200 CET in Triq Santa Barbara, Rabat.
Preliminary investigations show that three people, whose identity is as yet unknown, assaulted the man. The thieves fled from the scene after firing shots. They did not manage to steal anything during the attack.
The victim suffered slight injuries.
District Magistrate Dr. Miriam Hayman was informed about the case and appointed various experts to assist her in the inquiry.
Police investigations are underway.
