Two youths, 23 and 22, from St. Paul’s Bay and Żebbuġ respectively, were injured when they fell from a building site that they were working on.

At around 1000 CET on Thursday morning, the Police were informed about an accident that happened in a building site in Hookham Frere Street, in Guardamangia.

Preliminary investigations showed that the youths fell whilst working on the roof of the building site.

Both the men were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital where it was found that the 23-year-old was suffering from slight injuries, whilst the younger man was more seriously injured as he had broken bones.

Further police investigations are underway.
