Shop owner held up in Marsascala

At around 1030 CET on Friday morning, a robbery took place from a shop in Triq il-Munxar, Marsascala.

Two armed and hooded men entered the shop and demanded money from the owner. The thieves used a getaway vehicle to escape from the shop, which resulted in being a car that was reported missing two days ago.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Duty Magistrate Dr Dennis Montebello was informed about the incident and appointed various experts to help him in the inquiry.
