A young woman died on Tuesday morning after being rushed to hospital in a state of unconsciousness. The youth was found unconscious on the steps of a block of apartments in Wilga Street, Paceville at around 0200CEST.
Police were called on location and the young woman was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital by ambulance, however she died shortly after arriving there. The identity of the youngster is yet to be established. She is thought to be around 20 years old.
No signs of violence were found on the woman’s body.
An autopsy revealed that the girl young woman died of heart faliure. Toxicological exams are underway.
Duty Magistrate Michael Mallia appointed various experts to assist him in an inquiry.
Police investigations are underway.
