Boy on danger-list after electrocution

An eight-year-old boy is on danger-list after being electrocuted on Thursday at around 1900CEST.

When the incident took place the child was in company of his parents in a Qormi residence.

The Qormi boy was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital where he was certified to be in danger of losing his life.

Duty Magistrate Lawrence Quintano ordered an inquiry and appointed various experts to assist him.

In turn, Joseph Barrows, a 64-year-old man who was hit by a vehicle on Tuesday, died in the Intensive Therapy Unit in St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday. He had been placed on danger-list after being hit by a car in Żabbar Road, Fgura.

The injured man, a Fgura resident, was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was found to be in danger of losing his life.

Joseph Barrows was hit by a vehicle type Skoda, driven by a 46-year-old man from Fgura.
