Construction worker in danger of dying

A 38-year-old construction worker is on danger list after falling a height of one storey in St. Catherine Street, Qrendi on Tuesday morning at around 1015CEST.

Prior to the fall, the man from Birżebbuġia was carrying out works on a construction site while standing on a metal beam.

The man was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital where he was found to be suffering life threatening injuries.

Duty Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera was informed about the case and appointed various experts to assist her in an inquiry.

Police are investigating.
