Omar Isa, a 24-year-old illegal immigrant from Nigeria, was arraigned in Court on Wednesday and charged with cannabis possession as well as fleeing Safi Detention Centre.
He pleaded not guilty.
He was not granted bail and will remain in Police custody.
The Court, presided over by Magistrate Dennis Montebello.
Lawyer Dr. Renzo Porsella Flores appeared for the accused.
