Derek Murphy who received a double major in philosophy and theology from the University of Malta has written a book entitled “Dead Little Fish: The Accidental History of Jesus Christ," which allegedly proves that Jesus Christ was a mythological figure that accidentally became mistaken for a real man.

PRWeb said that “Dead Little Fish" exposes the accidental roots of Christianity, by tracing its development from Greek mystery cults, pagan sun myths, and ancient philosophy. The book also explains how first Christians believed in Jesus only as a spiritual entity, and he was later, mistakenly viewed as a real man.

Recently a lot of media attention has been given to the book "The DaVinci Code," by author Dan Brown, as well as its film version going by the same name directed by Ron Howard. In Malta, the movie stirred controversy with the Curia publishing a guide to answer the controversial questions arising form the film. In turn, the Vatican had asked all Catholics to boycott the book and film.

Murphy received a double major in philosophy and theology from the University of Malta, and has since traveled the world in search of arcane wisdom and ancient religious secrets. He is currently pursuing an MA in Religious Literature in Taiwan.
