Young woman allegedly held up in Msida subway

An 18-year-old woman from Tarxien has alleged that she was held up on Friday afternoon in a subway in Regional Road, Msida.

The young woman told Police that at around 1330CET an armed robber snatched her handbag out of her hands, before fleeing the scene immediately afterwards. Nobody was injured in the alleged hold-up.

Police investigations are underway.
