MaltaMedia Online News is inviting its visitors to comment on its new layout, which was soft launched on Saturday.
The website has been updated to run with the most current upgrade in the content management software used to bring you all the new and information the organization has been producing since 1999. The system is also more user-friendly with regards to Web 2.0, and every article features links to del.icio.us and Digg, two social networking services which have developed in the recent years.
MaltaMedia Online News also features a number of RSS feeds allowing visitors to subscribe and receive immediate updates of what is happening in the Maltese islands.
Speaking of the upgrade, Dr Toni Sant, MaltaMedia's founder and creative director said that “This move is driven by several factors. We've been wanting to refresh the general look of MaltaMedia.com for some time to update it in line with recent developments in monitor resolutions, especially with the newer generation of laptops and LCD displays. We also wanted to upgrade the software we use for managing the content. We're now using a system which is also more user-friendly with regards to Web 2.0 and the ever-growing social networking aspects of the internet.”
