A 28-year-old man failed to complete a robbery, after police caught him red-handed trying to steal from an entertainment establishment in Rabat. According to police preliminary investigations, the man hid inside the establishment before it closed with the intention to steal boxes filled with alcohol bottles.
However, the man was caught after the establishment’s alarm went off on Monday at around 0300 CET. Thus the police were immediately on site to stop him.
The on duty Magistrate appointed several experts to assist him in the inquiry.
The thief is being kept by the police for further investigations.
