The lifeless body of a woman was discovered at the shipyards in Cospicua on Saturday. The woman was sighted floating face down in the water-filled Dock 1 at around 1730CET.
Duty Magistrate Giovanni Grixti ordered a magisterial inquiry, and appointed various forensic and police experts to assist him in the inquiry.
Police investigations are ongoing.
