Traffic accident victims’ parents request compensation

The parents of the five youths who lost their lives following the tragic traffic accident in Mdina Road, Żebbuġ last October, presented an official letter each to the First Hall of the Civil Court, demanding a compensation for the damage caused against the driver of the van that was carrying the youths.

The parents of the victims, all from Qrendi stated that 22-year-old Antoine Cassar was driving with excessive velocity at the time of the tragic accident.

The letters were presented by the parents of 13-year-old David Sacco, 16-year-old Fabio Magro, 17-year-old Mark Abdilla, Oswald Vella and Christian Camilleri, both 18 years of age. The letters were also sent to Sean Briffa who was driving a Subaru that was involved in the accident.
