Man arrested after shooting

A 35-year-old man from Għargħur was arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on Sunday evening. Police preliminary investigations revealed that the man fired several shots in the street following a family argument.

No one was injured during the shooting that happened at around 2130 CET, in a residence in Salvatore Żarb Street.

The man is being kept by the police for further invertigations.

Magistrate Dr Silvio Meli was informed of the case and appointed various experts to help him in the inquiry.
