Woman held up in Sliema

Two hooded persons armed with a firearm held up a woman in Triq il-Kbira, Sliema, on Monday at around 1220CEST. The robbers also stole her bag containing a considerable amount of cash.

The Police went on location and preliminary investigations revealed that the two hooded persons got out of a vehicle, a Peugeot. They held up the woman and took her bag with the cash.

Duty Magistrate Dr. Giovanni Grixti was informed about the case and appointed various experts to assist in the enquiry.

The Police are investigating.
