A foreigner was seriously injured when she was hit by a car early on Sunday morning in Regional road, Sliema.
The accident happened at about 0100 CET when the woman was crossing the road and was hit by a person driving a Lada Samara.
The woman was rushed to hospital. She is not in danger of dying.
The police are investigating.
