Elderly couple held up in their residence

Two elderly persons were held up by three hooded robbers in their residence at Siggiewi at around 00:45 on Friday morning.

The robbers stole an amount of cash and several other objects.

The elderly couple was taken to hospital suffering from shock and slightly injured.

Duty Magistrate was informed of the case and appointed several experts to assist in the inquiry. The police investigations are under way.
