Dan Brown’s ‘The Da Vinci Code’ has caused much uproar in the world due to the book’s controversial nature. The Church in Malta considered the publication of the novel and the much awaited release of the film as a good occasion for restating its precepts and long-standing teachings. ‘Uncoding Jesus Christ’ is a manual that was assembled above all as a way of assisting teachers, youth leaders and parents.
The Church’s position is being propagated by the Institute of Pastoral Formation (IFP) and supported by the Diocesan Youth Commission (KDZ).
KDZ is thus encouraging all those involved in the care of young people to read this manual. With sections on Mary Magdalene, the Priory of Sion, the Divinity of Jesus and much more, this manual provides us with valuable information regarding the issues raised by The Da Vinci Code.
Copies are available from KDZ offices. One can also download a soft copy of the manual by logging in to www.kdz.org.mt. For more information please phone KDZ on 21 48 45 06 or email us at info@kdz.org.mt. Kindly note that KDZ offices are open from 8.30am till 4.30pm.
