Intimate letters concerts at Auberge de Castille

St. James Cavalier in collaboration with Novartis will present a series of six concerts in Auberges and Palaces around Malta linking the intimate letters of composers to their music. The series, entitled “Intimate letters” will see Verdi’s compositions in its first installation.

Verdi’s “Come dal Ciel Precipita (Macbeth)”, “Il Laccerato Spirito (Simon Boccanegra)” and “Preghiera (Nabucco)” will be played at Auberge de Castille on the 11th January, starting at 2000CET. Subsequently a String Quartet in E minor will also perform. Performers include Noel Galea on the bass, Sarah Spiteri and Roberta Attard on the violin, Stephen Zammit on the viola and Yaroslav Miklukho on the cello.

Tickets per concert are priced at Lm 6 each. Block tickets for three concerts are priced at Lm 15, while block tickets for all six performances are priced at Lm 20.
